Join the Draper Philharmonic and Choral Society
Share your talent with a welcoming, high-caliber philharmonic and choir.
We welcome experienced instrumentalists and singers who are eager to rehearse, learn, and perform meaningful repertoire for our community.
Rehearsals: Regular rehearsals leading up to the performance, including combined choir and orchestra practices, and technical run-throughs. Please see the Members Page for rehearsal and concert information.
Fees based on each concert you participate in; volunteer-based organization
Solo & Choir Opportunities: We welcome vocalists with strong stage presence and expressive storytelling abilities to audition for solo roles or join our powerful choir.
We hold simple placement auditions for strings, winds, brass, percussion, and all voice parts to ensure a strong musical fit.

Are your concerts family-friendly?
Yes! We love having families join us! If your little ones become restless, we simply ask that you step out of the auditorium for a moment to minimize distractions.
How early should I arrive before a performance?
We recommend arriving 30–40 minutes early to allow time for parking, ticket pickup if needed, and finding your seats. Doors typically open 30 minutes before the concert begins.
Do I need prior ensemble experience to join the choir or orchestra?
If you're an experienced musician who loves giving back through music, we’d love to meet you! Our group relies on dedicated members who can commit to a full year of rehearsals and our four signature concert events.
Where do you rehearse?
Rehearsals are held weekly in the Draper area. Specific dates vary by concert season. Choir rehearses on Tuesdays and the Philharmonic on Wednesdays.
